End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These equipment have superior performance features that are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck units.
These forklift units are great for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space needed to utilize these machines are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These machinery are an excellent alternative for applications that require frequent on and off access, because their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
A lot of companies used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading machines could arrange finished goods on pallets and materials to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require for immediate use in an efficient and safe way.
All standard reach truck models will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machine. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and could move down and up. The forks also have a hydraulic system that allows the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not only offers much more balance to the overall load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
After the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Usually, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
