Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family business in the Northern Italy's biggest industrial location. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, different types of forklifts, presses, farming machines and prefabrication molds.
The company started crane production during the year 1963. Over time, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
