The design philosophy at Peiner has continually revolved around delivering grabs that handle the biggest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The standard handling ratio for Peiner grabs and buckets is approximately 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent versus grab dead weight of 40 percent. This means transporting more quantities of supplies faster. There is less wear and tear on the crane structure and its related components.
