The narrow aisle forklift has been made to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale makes the single reach NR and double reach NDR units that are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different control handle and stance configurations and use best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider variety of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers strong deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been manufactured for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo moved in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly consists of tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To really enhance the overall throughput and production, Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: Though regenerative lowering can lessen battery changes per shift it also functions to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and thus greatly reduces energy. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable so as to decrease operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also called very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These machines are designed for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are usually guided by rail or wire when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
